CT Technologist with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Need 2 Professional References. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $61.59/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $45.25/hr, along with a per diem of $16.33/hr.*Work Location - 44405 Woodward Ave., Pontiac, MI, 48341. Only Travelers are considered who are staying above 60 Miles from the facility.\n

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Gastroenterologist Internal Medicine Missouri state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Gastroenterologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

Responsibilities:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
• Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.
• Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.
