- Share Your Story: Join Our Focus Group on BIPOC Student Experiences in Nutrition & Health Fields
Description
Are you a Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color (BIPOC) undergraduate student studying nutrition, dietetics, public health, food science, agriculture, or a related field? Do you have an interest in research? If so, we’d love to invite you to share your story with us.
As part of the Supporting Diversity Pilot Study, we're hosting small, virtual focus group interviews (5 participants each), to better understand the experiences of students like you: your challenges, your inspirations, and what support has meant (or could mean) along your journey pursuing a career in nutrition and dietetics.
These interviews will be recorded but kept anonymous. The insights you share will help inform a mentorship program for BIPOC students interested in pursuing a career in nutrition and dietetics and conducting research.
- Focus groups will be held virtually and last about 60-90 minutes.
- Participants will receive a $25 thank-you gift card for their time.
